One of my childhood dream was to be a creator/designer. Not only design things, create beauty and make changes, for better. After graduating Product Design in 2006 in Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) , I lived and worked 10 years in Argentina. Being a mom, working as a designer and also with other projects I am passioned about - recycled design/visual solutions/filming and photography.
2023 spring I am officially Master of Art (EKA), master thesis - No scandal, Just sandals. Cooperating with Estonian farmers and experimenting local leather in shoemaking. Most of my projects I highly consider needs and nature.
Art is an essential human need to heal. Also l get inspired from our deepest wisdom and being in silence of nature when I connect with the origin.
I pursue to develop a new generation of concepts, materials and shoe making techniques, at the same time a new generation of ways of living, loving, relating, reconnecting, healing, enjoying and taking care of actions with meaning.
For this reason, I love to work with organic materials and leftovers that avoid environmental impact.
Some days I sketch and plan, mostly I go with the feeling and contact with the moment, with the materials, the earth, the visuals, with the essential, are better able to open the way to create.
